Homeward bound

We are on the train back home to Pittsburgh, having had a great time but glad to be heading home. Sleeping in our own bed, for instance, will feel like heaven!

I did the short row toe of a 2nd sock on the train ride up, then had no time to knit the entire time we were in New York, so I am knitting like a madwoman on the train ride back. (I have a lot of socks to knit. I’ll post a final tally of sock yarn acquired when I get home, but it’s enough to keep me busy for a year, at least!) I might have to follow Stephanie Pearl-McPhee’s lead and do a pair of socks per month just to get through it all, LOL!)

I reside in North Carolina with my husband Fred and am acclimating to a new area after 13 years in Pittsburgh. In the past few years I have completely changed my life (and I couldn't do it without support from family and friends). I now work as a writer and editor, and my favorite topics to write about are how to live a more positive life, book reviews, and sharing my crafts. Welcome!
